Bought another copy of The Eternal recently to give to my sister for her birthday.

I still play the album regularly.

Still haven't quite got all their album, but i'm working at it, from memory i have about 5 or so to go. Experimental Jet Set, Trash and No Star being one of them.

In fact, looking at my collection right now, someone has thieved Sister from me.

I shall find the culprit immediately.

Im trying to get into this band. I first checked out Daydream Nation but its taking some time to grow on me. After reading this thread and some reviews I decided to "electronically obtained" Sister and Goo, they seem like they will be a good place to start.

I heard Sacred Trickster on the radio from their new album, right now thats my favorite song from them lol. I find this funny cuz they got so much older material thats highly praised.

Its like someone hearing New Wu on the radio and having that as they're favorite Wu-tang song.

Yeah, Daydream Nation takes a while to get into i think.

I had heard a few other SY albums before it, so i think i got into quicker, but i still didn't think it was amazing on first listen.

I think Sister is a good place to start.

A Thousand Leaves also has a bit of a different vibe to a lot of their other albums, so might want to check that out also.

Hits Of Sunshine still might be my favourite Sonic Youth track.
