they show how much more faster

then edge which was on the old iphon

it took a page to load in 1 min

on 3g it took 20 sec


talk time on 3g is 5-6 ours
and 6-7 hours just browsing
video playing 7-8 hours

and audio is 24 hours

i stand by time is more then 24 hours..they didnt say

also has gps
and a bunch of new d/l able apps and games

also a lang converter with charters aswell

life of battry aint to bad..thats only when ur in 3g u can talk on 2g and have 10 hrs of talk time
not sure if u can turn it on or off or what yet

mp3 ring tones would be dope but on itunes u can convert ur music to ringtons for the iphone

Looks like the Samsung for me. My goal is to replace 4 boxes with one; PDA, ‘REAL’ GPS, reasonable camera (I’ll still have my real one, but it may be at home) and Cell Phone. The absence of a REAL PDA on the iPhone wipes it out, as does the 2 MP camera and ‘data’ based GPS (no use at all in the bush and out of Cell range and data is ridiculously expensive not to mention roaming charges when out of the country - useless). Also, if I start using MP3s, I imagine the iPhone will be tied into iTunes - no thank you. The iPhone does not even get ranked as anything but last.

Price, however, may make me wait a while before getting in.

Short wish list now. Just some optical zoom on the camera, but at least I can crop 5MP a bit.

im not a fanboy on any phone

but i have to say that the samsung is not worth it for us in the states

it will cost 100$ a month
for the phone

and the thing is u will have to charge the phone up 2 times aday
as talk time is only 3 hrs...
stand by is 10 hrs

the web acsess in the states will be bad...as it will be way slower then ipone on 2g
but in the uk it will be ok..not as fast as iphone 3g but it will be up their...

forr 100$ month ..that is just wrong for us in the states

as for roeming charges i havnt heard any thin on that ..my dad has the firts iphone and he travels..and talks alot on it and has never had been charged for it

and for navigation yes it only comes with the gps...but tom tom as made a app for turn by turn navigation REAL gps

but who is gonna use it

it will wipe the ipone battry out in 2 or less hours

with the samsungs battrey life ..smaller... it will be 1 hour or less

no matter what both phons have bad battery life
