Default Why did Nas end SD in the order he did?

He said each song flowed into each other to tell a story. Listening to it last night, it seemed U Know My Style should have came after the Destiny song on Disc 2, and Thief Themes should have came after Reason on Disc 2.

Disc 2, Nas is talking about Getting Married and being at a happy place in his life. Whereas, in Disc 1 (my favorite) he's talking about Message to the Feds, and the fuck up world we live in. It seems those two last songs was put in the wrong place.

I don't know, just an observation I made.

STREETS "filler" DISCIPLE should have been one disc........I cant even listen to that album due to all the filler...........to be honest I have not been able to a whole NAS album since IT WAS WRITTEN due to all the filler on his albums.

If you took I AM and NASTRADAMAS and made one disc out of them, there would be a great album........if you took STILLMATIC and GODS SON and made one album out of them you would have a classic.......along with the great songs NAS has on his albums, he always has songs that are fuckin terrible and unlistenable

I agree that there hasn't been a Nas album for a while that I can listen through without wanting to press skip at least once. Stillmatic has The Flyest and Braveheart Party, God's Son has Hey Nas. I'm not saying those albums aren't fire, they just have a couple weak songs.

Actually, Lost Tapes I can listen through easily, his best album since Illmatic

True, it's hard to say that his recent shits was classics or "all-the-way-through" listeners. Stillmatic was pretty damn close. As close as itz gonna get. Word up though to that message to the feds that starts disc one. OMG! Say, when I first put that in, I at least rewound it like 15 times. I could not get over that shit. Idk why. maybe the fact that the beat was sick as hell or that he rode on it so on point. Anyway. One.

Message to the feds was my favorite on disc 1, that and Just a Moment. That beat to message to the feds is so sick, those pianos.

If I was to wreck an instrumental on record, It would be message to the feds. While I replayed that bitch over an over, I was wreckin tha shit out of it. I got to the point to where Nas's lyrics on it didn't even matter no more. Much respect to tha god though. One.
