I honestly think that Rza has completely lost touch with what was/is dope about hip hop.

Your not the only one. The first few times i heard 8 Diagrams i loved the production, i still think some of it is pretty good, but it has 0 replay value. This can only be worse

    Exactly...
Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.

    My sentiments basically.

Theres enough interesting stuff on there to keep me listening to it.

Calling it a classic is retarded, but no less retarded than calling FishScale a classic.

I will know when I've heard it a few more times, but after only two listens, it's nothing great. A couple good tracks, but I always need to give an album a few listens to sink in and soak it up..
