The video is from the Soviet Union in 1940. An experiment like that would never pass in America today. Furthermore, the documentary didn't point out a lot of problems they had with the experiment.

Please cite me a RECENT experiment comparable to that. I realize animal cruelty in laboratories still goes on, but this was a widely publicized experiment which recieved no condemnation. Cruel animal experiments usually recieve widespread condemnation not just outside, but within the scientific community these days.
