New New Style Sigs- laboratory

okay so i'm bout to drop the new new STYLE sig.
right now i'm playing around with each element and testing each step.


basically the new sigs will be 3D Graffiti Animations.
imagine a graf piece that has moving letters... animated fills within each letter... then throw a 3D character in the mix.....

yeah i know.... Manchu Laced Bubonic AIDS right?


so i started with this just to lay out some ideas.



then i started working in the 3rd dimension just to test file sizes and also to see if i could reflect a 2d pshop image onto a 3d object.
if you can see the chick is reflected off of the skull.



i was pleased.


next step was to turn a flat graffiti piece into a 3D one. this took a lil trial and error but once i figured it out it was easy.


then i found a shitload of photorealistic 3D models. so now i can work completely in 3D and just do touchups and effects in pshop.

so here i am as of july 8.


next step is to animate the moving letters.

then figure out how i want to work the fills. which will be a bitch to do. but thats where the fun is.





now before a line forms.....

i will not re-open the sig shop.

i am opening a sig boutique, for the wucorp members with exquisite taste in signature. but there will be qualifications and stipulations to be announced at the grand opening. (end of this month)

if you were on an old list and i didn't make ur sig....take me to wucorp court. lol

In the past had to manually delete the background from each frame if i wanted a transparent gif or wanted to put something behind the 3d object.

take that purple skull for example, i had to do 30 frames of that bullshit.



well i was trying to get the bkg greyto match the wucorp grey and saw a lil button that said "set color to transparent" in the "save to web" dialog box where the color table is. you just choose a color from the table and click the cherckerboard button.
