    what y'all think.. i'm leaning heavily towards the mixtape but I'm gonna give the album one more spin before my final verdict.

    mixtape was good but the versions on the album and the all around arrangement of the album cant be topped by that tape. henceforth....

    The Mixtape was bangin', theres no doubtin that but Untitled is amazing and has insane amounts of replay value.

    U Buggin... The Nigger Mixtape Is Way Better Then The Untitled Nigger Album.

    As strong as the mixtape is (I'd say it is the best mixtape of the year) the songs are overall stronger on Untitled. That chicken joint, for example, is far superior to songs like Let's go esco. Plus, as someone else mentioned, the mixing on the songs that were on the mixtape which later made their way onto the album was improved.

    Album wins. It's definitely best Nas had to offer since God's Son - if not It Was Written - while the mixtape is just... a mixtape.

    I dont agree with that. I think Esco Let's Go (which wasnt even a high quality mastered version) is better than 90% of the official album. That and Cops Keep firing shoulda been on the album. Why Nas continues to short change his albums is beyond me
