AllHipHop.com: Could you break down the beginning of the project?

Shizzah: First of all, it was an idea that came by me very accidentally. I was reading through threads in Temple of Darts, and I was reading 6 different darts pitching to each other, and thought I could organize a group work with 6 members. Then I thought "Why wouldn't I make a group work of 9 members?". Then I boldly thought "Why not make a group of 9 members?". Hit up certain people and Section 9 was born.

AllHipHop.com: How did you manage to get 9 hardcore talented MC's into one group and manage to work with the chemistry throughout so many tracks?

Shizzah: Well it's sorta like a snowcone, you get vanilla, chocolate, banana, pistachio, caramel, butter and all that s*it packed together into one big snowcone. Of course it's gonna taste good, yo!

AllHipHop.com: Could you break down the personalities of each member?

Shizzah: Well, you have OTB, he the samurai, he swingin swords all day long, all day. He can't miss. He swings that shit accross your spinal chord and you can hope you don't have to walk in a wheelchair for the rest of your life, nawmeen [laughs]

Shizzah: You have whers, he's the pillar of lyrcism. He can write rhymes that are so dark, you would need a flashlight to read what he wrote. His images would make a depressionist crawl into his hole and die. You know? whers will kill you. Then you have Sheepish, he the Lord Of Chaos. He writes verses for fun. He the Joker. He destroys you for fun. "I said 'fuck you' to Charlton Heston and his NRA weapons".

AllHipHop.com: I see, what's your view on your storytelling renegade, the beautifulrock?

Shizzah: Well, the guy's a walking book with the wisdom of Confucious, what he says, that's fact. His view on situations is extraordinary, as you can see from his storytelling verses.

AllHipHop.com: True that, I rewind his verses when I listen to them so I catch up with all the little details. You could make a movie from his verses.

Shizzah: Word.

AllHipHop.com: What about the others?

Shizzah: Well, we're all just lyricists, and there isn't so much philosophy to it, and it's just something we do. It's our job. But what differs us from the rest, is that we are not only 9 MC's that will fuck anybody up in a battle, it's that our verses are selected for the verses of the month/year whatever. We have extraordinary punchline rappers, imagery rappers, storytellers.

AllHipHop.com: You've got a point there. Will we see a competition of darts in the Temple of Darts anytime soon? It sounds like a great idea.

Shizzah: Well, you gotta ask Dusk that [laughs]

AllHipHop.com: [Laughs], I'll get at him later. Could you break down what are your project plans for the future? So far you've had 2 posse cuts that blew me away, you had a lyrical manifestation, what's next?

Shizzah: We're working on a drug story now, very dark shit. You need to see those verses. That's crazy as fuck. I don't think I'll bounce on it, but I'm there with the suggestions, feedback, any help they need. We are all a family, you know?

AllHipHop.com: Nicely said. What about the future?

Shizzah: Well, we have a solo project coming up. I won't reveal anything. You know the Canibus track Poet Laureate II?

Shizzah: Expect something along those lines.

AllHipHop.com: Since your group was influenced by Wu-Tang, will you be acquiring something like Killa Beez? A bunch of MC's on a compilation, something like that?

Shizzah: I think it's too early to dicsuss something that large. We'll see. Maybe.

AllHipHop.com: What about your fallen member, Lil' Ruger?

Shizzah: I don't wanna talk about that. Sorry. It hit me too hard.
