Im curious about this because I can only imagine what dope joints were cooked up by Monk during the Wu days at their best, but other than his solo The Prophecy (Brooklyn zu album not included) I haven't been feeling any of his music, all those zu chronicle albums, the ones i've heard have been lucklustre. I do hope that this actually has some quality to it.

who gives a fuck, whack ass people like buddha monk should have never been labeled as wu. have you ever heard a good song from his ass or his crew. that new brooklyn zoo cd is garbage. some of the production is alright but the album is weak. only dude in the whole group with mic skills is 12 o'clock. if they didn't drop an album in the 90's when wu was on top, there's a reason for it. killarmy, sunz of man, killah priest, wu-syndicate, shyheim, gravediggaz, la the darkman, shabazz... these people need acknowledgement. but buddah monk, brooklyn zoo, zu ninjas, deadly venoms... they're not hip-hop artists. just people from the hood wu-tang brought on to lift them out. why are you wasting your time listening to trash, so much non-wu hip-hop comes out every month thats nice
    FCK A SHOUT OUT!

Although you are intitled to your opinion, I'm not sure how you can say the 12 is the only one with skills in the group? No offense to 12, but his rhymes are simple and have popular appeal to them. Don't get me wrong, I like the dude a lot but in no way is he my favorite from the group.

Personally Buddha is my favorite then Shorty and 12 come second. But to me the group as a whole are really nice together. I also think P. Sunn should have been with the group because he fits well with them too.

Not Interested. I'd rather hear 12'O Clock.
Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.

    LOL, yeah..

12 o'clock is really nice, his lyrics are simple at a lot of times, but he got that ill voice and flow.. nasty immigrants is my shit!

buddha monk's the prophecy was nice IMO, he got an original style, but i feel he's trying to live of ODB's death in a way now..
Shaolin shadowboxin' and the wu-tang swordstyle...
If what you say is true...
The shaolin and the wu-tang could be dangerous!
En garde, I'll let you try my wu-tang style...

One thing I like about these vids is that we get to have little more insight into how these artists live, their history and so forth. I think it's necessary because it helps you to appreciate the music more.
