Wu Sample Originals

This is in response to requests for a master list of samples.

i have multiple master lists on an external hd somewhere & most all the tracks in Serato (but unmarked.) When i have time, i can try to compile into an excel spreadsheet that can be sorted, etc. I've started one before, but its soo tedious, and i'm a busy kat. If I can at least get 95% on a list, everyone can review it and see what has been missed. ??? It might take me quite a while, cuz i've been really busy between work, school, mixing, shows, etc.

Does anyone have or know where i can get the album called "Franck Pourcel Meets The Beatles." It was used in the Wu/Beatles mash-up album. It has also been used on such songs by Common and also DJ Premier.

^ Yes, it is the same album. The original on vinyl was released in 1970. Then in 1987 it was released on CD. It's out of print and impossible to find.

I really thought it wasnt sampled, its such a simple beat.

I must say that the sample for Tragedy still bugs me out. Why cant no one find it. Everything that has been suggested is wrong. This is one of my must haves. True master always flip the coolest sample. While yall at it, find the sample for MGM.

^just listened to that track at youtube. Who is Mad Lion? He def. sounds like one. His rapping is awful IMO.
