not the classic that "Word...Life" is but still a banging album. O.C. represents on the mic wheter it be a battle, abstract, love or struggle song and production is handled well by Buckwild, DJ Premier, Da Beatminerz, Ogee, Lord Finesse and Showbiz. Favorite songs include "Jewelz", "M.U.G." and "Hypocrite".

You tripping. Word Life isn't a classic and Jewelz is better than Word Life.
^^ are you serious?? for me "Word Life" is way above "Jewelz" though the latter is still a solid release.. wheter you like the production better I could understand cuz it's a matter of taste but listen to O.C. in 1994 and tell me he didn't put in alot more work into his rhymes back then??

You trying to tell me that his rhymes were lazy on Jewelz? Get outta here. I don't know why his fans praise Word Life so much. I didn't see anything special about that album. It was ok but Jewelz is a much better album. His last album Smoke And Mirrors is terrible.
^^ nah man, he was ill as hell on "Jewelz" as well but he had some lines here and there that was kinda sloppy. to me it sounds like he took more time with writing Word Life and for me that album has the best production but as I said it's a matter of taste..

"Jewelz" is his best album ! It's definitely a classic.....

ive always like Jewelz more, from a musical standpoint it stuck out more. not really a diss to Word..Life, O is great and Buckwild did most of it, but it sounded like a bunch of other stuff in 94. tracks like MUG/The Crow/Chosen One (my favorite OC song) make this a unique album.
not to mention the title track, which for those that dont know where just supposed to SKITS on the never released 4th Lord Finesse album.
its a 5, only Dangerous is a skipper because of the awkward beat
