    I'll take rock as anything with r-r-r-rockin' guitars and drums, heh - so in that case, I bring you my favourites/listen to most, not in much of an order past the first;

    1. Bruce Springsteen
    2. Pink Floyd
    3. Sex Pistols
    4. Eddie Cochran
    5. Misfits
    6. Babyshambles
    7. The Damned
    8. Dead Kennedys
    9. System Of A Down
    10. Alexisonfire

BTW, the most listened to/favourite genres of mine are Rockabilly and Punk (outside of the obvious, being on a Wu board and all), so most of the stuff I have will likely be in those genres, rock wise, with a good few obvious exceptions.

    No particular order...

    Tool
    X-Japan
    Deftones
    Luna Sea
    A Perfect Circle
    Dir en Grey
    Live
    Oblivion Dust
    The Smashing Pumpkins
    FAKE?

Sidenote: Left out solo artists like hide and Prince since, although they do have backing bands, are generally recognized by themselves. Otherwise, both would have made my list.
