    Pink Floyd
    The Beatles
    Led Zeppelin
    Deep Purple
    The Who
    Oasis
    Radiohead
    R.E.M.

You could fill the other 2 spots with maybe someone like Cream or Credence. I'd be happy to just leave the list at 8 though.

Also, I don't consider a lot of the bands I listed to be 'rock', but fuck it, they're all bands who play mostly rock instruments.

While I love Oasis' early material you can hardly say all of their albums are very good. I'd say yes to all of the other bands on this list. Good list!

Funnily enough it's the last couple of Oasis albums which got me back into them recently. They both came out when I was into other stuff and not really that interested, so I only heard them a few times and never really got into them.

Then a few months back I listened to their whole discog and found that their last album, 'Dig Out Your Soul' was a total winner. Awesome album. Started listening to it shitloads. Then I added their second last album, 'Don't Believe the Truth', which took a bit longer to get into, but now that's getting a lot of play too. Great album.

I've always loved 'Heathen Chemistry' too. Those last 3 albums have been on heavy rotation for the last few months. The only Oasis album I don't really have much time for is 'Be Here Now'. I think that's mostly because they made the one massive mistake on that album which they never did with their other albums, which was to make it a lot longer than it should have been and drag out songs which shouldn't have been dragged out.

I also recently dl'ed all the Oasis offshoot albums. The first Beady Eye album is fucken awesome and has also been getting heavy rotation.
