    bump.

I think this would be a 7..pretty low for jay-z standard.

So Ghetto, Big Pimpin are really the good albums.

there's some nice songs on this and i know many people loved this but it's one of the Jay-Z albums that i never got into very much. as everyone else already mentioned, "So Ghetto" is more than serious tho and i like the combination of Timbaland/Jay-Z here.

This album takes me back to when I was at school. Got a loan of the CD from a friend at the same I copped 36 chambers and played those two albums solid for about a year straight.

    They're total rap classics.

LOL@you think The Life and Times Of Shawn Carter is classic hahahahahahahahahahahaha. I don't see what's so special about Big Pimpin song. The beat is wack to me. I thought it was odd to have Jay-Z and UGK on a song. I know UGK has a lot of fans but i don't think their music is good. I've heard most of their albums and i wasn't impressed. I didn't like Bun B's Trill album either. I do like Bun B's song he did with David Banner, Rick Ross, 8Ball and MJG which he sampled Jodeci's Cry For You song.

I love this album. It's a strong 4/5 to me. Other than Reasonable Doubt, this is the strongest rapping of Jigga's career imo. The beats are incredibly varied and has lots of different flavors. At the same time though, it flows well and Jay's persona and confidence reach it's apex here.

Good picks! Come and Get Me is a totally underrated Jay song along with "There's Been A Murder". I love the Juvenile chorus on Snoopy Track as well.

Some good, some wack. 'So Ghetto', 'Do It Again' and the Timbaland stuff was dope, the rest of it wasn't.

Also the bonus track 'Girls Best Friend', every now and then swizz actually makes a beat i like.

^Even the songs that have questionable beats have a Jay-Z that is at the top of his rap-game imo.
