Star Wars - The Last Jedi

Sooooooo what you lot think.

I thought the Force Awakens was ok, it had its flaw and was pretty much a copy of a New Hope. But whatever it was enjoyable and great to be back in this universe. The Last Jedi though I didn't like. This movie has some serious flaws and plot holes. I know not to read the reviews before hand but like for this everyone was raving about how good it was. Disney fucked up, they did a huge injustice to major characters.

It was alright. It really could've done without the jokes tho. They were not Star Wars worthy and very unnecessary. This is not the Marvel CU.

The movie was also too long and it lacked good fights.

My homie was profusely sweating and gave it a 9.5/10 so to each its own I guess.

6.5/10 for me. Better luck next time.

I take Star Wars for what it is; goofy overblown soap opera in space. Obviously some are better than others but I think I'll enjoy this one regardless of its flaws. All these movies are trashy, I don't know why anyone would be bothered by a plot hole in a series thats completely ridiculous to its core.

Interested to hear the opinions though, all the amazing reviews stink of payola.

I'm seeing the movie on Thursday with a professional short story writer friend on Thursday. He writes sci fi and absurd stories (www.frankroger.be), he's been published in over 40 languages. Very interested in finding out how he will like the movie. He's not really a SW fan, but I am.

This film felt off to me. The director didn't follow the formula like the other films did. I won't say the film is bad but it was not good either. It wasn't even all right. It sucks because The Force Awakens is a great film.

I don't know why people are saying The last Jedi is a great film when it is clearly not.
