    Episode 26....Very great ending to a great show. Perfectly set itself up for a different conflict for season 2. See...THIS is how X-Men should've been presented back when we were youngin's.

    But the 90's show stuck closer to the comics giving us almost literal translations of The Pheonix/Dark Pheonix storylines, but saying that though this show imo has been great and considering how it finished off, I can't wait for season 2.

    They changed things in the 90s version, as they did with this version. That's to be expected. But the TONE of the 90s version was too kiddy comparatively to the comic looking back (not to mention all the other things that annoy me a bit about it). Marvel having complete control on how the new X-Men show turned out really made a BIG difference in the quality.

    Disregarding advances in technology (like I said in another post, compare X-Men/Spiderman of the 90s to Gargoyles which came out around the same time. Alot more effort went into Gargoyles, which STILL looks excellent today), the new X-Men series is just a much better show all around.

    Season 2, may even top season 1, and that's saying alot.

    the 90s was more nostalgic same with spiderman. i can honestly say that this and ssm are better than the 90s counterparts.

    2nd season looks promising.. AoA i can't wait.
