CNN's sophmore album is far from the rugged and raw sound of "The War Report", while still maintaining a street-sound it's way more polished. Also Tragedy Khadafi (who in many ways was the mastermind of the debut and also appeared on half of the songs) is missing which affects the album...

"The Reunion" has it's fair share of bangers though; "Queens", "Invincible", "Bang Bang", "Don't Know Nobody", "Queen's Finest", etc.. but also features more than a handful of boring/uninspired tracks such as "Brothers", "Straight Like That", etc.

I feel that neither Capone or Noreaga is very skilled rappers but due to great production (and many verses from Tragedy who, IMO, is a great and brutally honest rapper) they made a classic in "The War Report". without the elements mentioned above they manages to do a good album but nothing outstanding..

I actually gave this a second chance in anticipation of their new one and while its not amazing like 'The War Report', its pretty fucking excellent. All the beats are thumping, and the rhymes are, well exactly what you'd expect. 'Gunz In The Air' is brilliantly ignorant and 'Queens' is a real life anthem. But all the tracks are good.
