I dunno, without sunshine, they aint no day time???
I dunno, without sunshine, they aint no day time???
To me, that line is one illest lines in Wu Tang history. It sums up what Wu Tang is; striving for knowledge but being evil and real as shit. "Sunshine plays a major part in the day time" infers equally that darkness plays a major part in the night. Sunshine from various Wu songs and titles generally means truth and knowledge for the betterment of self. "Peace to man mankind" and "Sunshine" are immediately contrasted with "black nine". They want to promote the knowledge but just in case some ignorance wants to take theirs, they're prepared to do whats necessary.
"Sunshine plays a major part in the daytime
peace to mankind, ghostface carry a black nine"
coupled with the change of the beat is some transcendent shit.
thats just my opinion though
Ghost writes his lyrics real fast you know.
I think you're looking to far into it, but it's your opinion
hmm Clan Destine has an interesting take on it,
But then again it could just be some shit that sounded good to Ghost so he threw it in there. who knows... I thought it might of been directly referencing some movie, or song or old saying etc. which is why i asked.
"Sunshine plays a major part in the day time" could mean that it was summer when they recorded.
I wonder. according to 5% teachings. The Sun's symbolic to the man/the Moon,Woman.
Also the sun represents knowledge. So for 'sunshine playing a a major part in the daytime" Ghost could have mean't .......well,go figure.
i always thought he meant abbot
"Fake niggas who tried to flex hard came and went, they couldn't match up wit the fly nigga wit his back against the wall. heads clock when i came in the door"-Ghostface Killah
