Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.

U-gos is an exeptional lyricist and voice he just needs the right production. Id give this album 6 out of 10. just barely above average b/c of u gods presence.

With the one exception of Trials & Tribulations of Russell Jones, this is the worst Wu album to date. Stop exposing yourself U-God, you're so dope when you have the right direction - just not your own!
"It's a Wrap" earns Golden Arms some redemption. Only dope song on the album.

U-God needs to hook up with the right team...perhaps Tricky, Public Enemy or RapALotrecords...he has the most unique voice in hip hop...I cant wait to get Mr.Xcitement.
