being that ur from australia, i think u did pretty good here, but ur off a bit. now, i dont know EVERY single word, but i do know about 98% of these lyrics.

- the song isnt about anything specific; its just them out one night at this fight living it up like stars....just a lil story (u know how GFK & rae do 2gether). in USA, going to a major boxing match is a HUGE, star-studded event.
- the fight was a major fight between julio caesar chavez & pernell "sweet p" whitaker (GFK has a line "...sweet P, get ur shit off...). chavez is a legend. whitaker was one of the best for a bit; he had a nice 5-6 yr run, or so. he was a coke-head too. i think they had 2 great/historic fights.
- with "blacks against the germans..." i think GFK is referring to another historic fight back in the 30's...joe louis (black american champ & symbol of black pride at this highly racist time) vs max schmelling (correct spelling?) from germany when hitler was in power. its one of the most famous fights in history b/c it kinda symbolized USA vs germany, and louis winning was like USA defeating the nazi regime. well, the chavez/whitaker fight was like mexico (or the mexicans) vs USA (really black americans). but it wasnt intense or racial like louis/schmelling.
- "chef pull out the doodle(?)"...not sure of that word, but obviously referring to a blunt.
- "twist the dank....peep noodles"...."dank" is like a REALLY good weed....and he's saying "peep noodles"....like, look over at masta killa (noodles is his gambino name, as u know).

i'm not doubting you, pmack, but i would arge that "blacks against the germans" is about the 1936 summer olympic games in berlin. hitler only allowed the aryan race to compete for germany because he wanted to prove that they were "better" than everyone else. but instead jesse ownes dominated by winning 4 gold medals. and cornelius johnson won 1.

so i think ghost is trying to say that the v.i.p. used to be for rich white folks and here they are just a couple of street niggas infiltrating and having to be accepted now.

yeah, u could be right, art. i'm familair w/ the '36 olympics too. i just assumed the louis/schmelling fight b/c in "MGM" they ARE at a fight. either way, they both happened around the same time, and involved the same racist BS. i think us referring to the US vs the nazi's here...we're both pretty much right.
