    Default Mafia Books.

For ppl into Mafia books, i highly recommend reading

    "Gomorrah - Italy's other Mafia".

this is an absolute dope book, basically its a investigative report on the Gomorrah. All the content in it is true. Apparently the Author is now hunted down by the Gomorrah, he got until Christmas to live.

You can understand why because the book goes into incredible detail over every aspect of the organisation. Even to the nicknames of each member.

sounds like good read. i've read many american mafia books, but never any trule Italian ones. They are much more ruthless too....I'll check it out.

Have you ever read the Last Testament of Lucky Luciano? Good read.

nah i havent come across it.

cause i got loads of Sicilian friends im directed more towards the Cosa Nostra based stuff.

The Gomorrah is pretty ruthless, theres even a movie about the Camorra mafia network which jus came out.

The Valachi Papers is a good mafia book.

The dude was a rat and the book is an account of his life in the mafia. Good read.

wiseguy is great....i read that when i was 15 in one day. couldnt put it down.

Yea I've always wanted to read Mafia Dynasty.

Gotti: Rise and Fall gets boring towards the end.

    Underboss is good.

The Last Testament of Lucky Luciano is great.

    Casino is good.

Godfather of Las Vegas is good.

Rise and Fall of the Cleveland Mafia is good.

To Kill The Irishman is good.

    Mob Nemesis is good.

Vengeance is Mine i only read part of.

Donnie Brasco is a great book, better than the movie.

Probably the Last Don, which i've read, or the Sicilian.

    Last Don wasn't bad.

itm ight be generic, but the donnie brasco book is fucking excellent ... goes into a lot more detail than the movie and the movie is pretty factualy incorrect for the most part and the book draws you in more than the movie because it's personalised from joseph pistone's point of view which makes all the more better

i had a massive encylocpedia of the mafia i stole from school which was great ... pretty sure it was just called the mafia encyclopedia

The Donnie Brasco book was great. Anthony Mirra was never mentioned in the movie, but he was a great part of the book.
