Forever had Triumph, but looking back at what this song did, who can argue that this wasnt Wu Tang's peak of relevance. If I made a greatest hits Wu album that had 10 or 15 songs, Gravel Pit would be on there. Its a great song. It sounds fresh as anything, unique tempo, the singer sounds smokey as hell, all the verses are clean as fuck.

Yes the track is dope imo, people hate on it because it got mainstream attention but such logic is retarded because from my point of view the lyrics were typical of what I expect from the wu, they wern't watered down in any way. The beat is banging and as for the chorus..well it served it's purpose and is no worse than the chorus on ODB's Got Your Money and I love that joint.
