I haven't extensively listened to any new non-wu rap sense the death of gangsta rap.
However, I don't think it is just limited to rap. I don't listen to any new music, period, because it is all pussy shit.

    All genres.

I listen to old mo-town/rnb/soul type shit perdominately, some rap before 2000 i grew up on, some old Johnny Cash/Hank WIlliams Jr. style country, some 60s/70s rock (stones beetles zep)

    I like music with soul.

    Music today is soulless.

Oh, I just saw the "gangsta" which might make the Das EFX track and Cenobites track A BIT off topic..

I like Bob Marley and Peter Tosh, but beyond that, I haven't really expanded my reggae horizons.

I wouldn't say gangsta rap is dead. There is still some out there. It's just not as popular, and more on the downlow.

^Bumping this thread for your favorite Gangsta Rap songs.

    Group Therapy - RBX, KRS-ONE, B-Real,
Nas, Dr. Dre - East Coast / West Coast Killas (Fire Version)

Still an anthem. You never hear so many legendary emcees tear up siren alarm beats like this anymore. Makes me want to do a drive-by.

This track was the best cut on the Aftermath compilation album. All in all that album was a bit of a letdown.
