releasing a few tracks early is only going to build anticipation for the final product. its not like people are going to go "oh, ive already got 4 out of 11 tracks, i dont need the other 7." and people who would download the other 7 tracks when it comes out would have downloaded the full album anyway even if there had been no leaks of indivudual tracks

In my opinion no more and no less than 20% of an album should be leaked.... its good for 3 tracks off of a 15 track album to leak to create hype for an album.... but if your point is that too much shit gets leaked ur definitely right.. get a track or 2 out there to cfreate some support for your artist but dont rip him off by puttin half his shit out there

records companies will put 2 or 3 songs out on radio and/or video to make hype for an album. why is it wrong for us to rip a few songs to see if it gonna be tight.

but DLing a whole album onto a forum isnt cool. if you wanna go get the whole album off a P2P, so be it. but it isnt right to facilitate ripping off an artist by posting their whole album on a public forum for all deadbeat leechers to have at it.

some of us(myself for example) are honest and will check a whole album and if we like it we'll go buy it. but you cant say the same for everyone.
