Anyone got the lyrics to this track? Its difficult to understand what he says at times due to the low quality recording.

I just heard the track again and found this thread.

For me, since the first time I have heard the song (and if I remember correctly, it only surfaced after his death) it makes me think what ODB really meant. Sure you can feel his pain, and his desperation. And it might only be a cry for help.
But after he got released from jail, he always struck me as if he was really anticipating his death every day.
So I wonder if this is what he means in the song:
He will not waste time anymore when he is with the Most High!

And even if this aint how he meant it, I will always hear the song and think of how he is really not wasting time anymore. No more will he run from jake. No more will he dodge the slugs. No more will he chase the drugs. But he climbs real high, feels free with the thug inside.
