Yeah I get some stuff off Amazon and 100 proof hit me up a good website called http://www.hkflix.com/home.asp but honestly I get a lot of this shit from JB Hi Fi - the one in the city has a killer Eastern section but you would have better luck on hkflix for obscure films.

Infact it seems HKFlix are having a sale of some sort and for three movies I just paid $4USD for shipping so you might want to get in on it.

storywise all 3 movies are completely unrelated to each other, only thing they have in common is their main actors, so it doesnt even matter which one u watch first, theyre all dope but my fav is part 2

Takashi Miike is the man! And yeah i know a lot of people are sleepin on Takashi Miike because his films arent really "marketable" in the US as far as getting into theatres or being popular DVDs, although his popularity has been slowly increasing since Audition and Ichi The Killer are getting popular by word of mouth. Takashi Miike is one of those directors that doesnt really need advertising over here though. A lot of people find out about his films by word of mouth, a lot of people just are like " oh my fn god i saw this crazy flick Ichi The Killer last night you gotta borrow it!!" i know thats what i did when i first found out about him about 5 years ago. And i probably turned about 20 people onto his films just by word of mouth.

Its also unfortunate though that i know a LOT of cats who claim theyre hardcore Miike fans when theyve only seen 2 or 3 of his flicks (mostly Ichi the killer) and what sucks is that Ichi The Killer is far from his best work. Hes got a ton of great movies out there (my personal favorite is Gozu).
Im glad I found this thread on here, I actually started a new Takashi Miike thread on here yesterday but didnt run into this thread until 2day.

Its nice to know that theres a decent amount of Wu Tang heads who dig Takashi Miike.
