You're fags, and i bet you bump that shit and dance to it when youre alone.
i like gravel pit but it would have been better without the singing, not that I have a problem with good sung vocals (like on Stick me 4 my riches, e.g.). but the girl on "gravel pit" doesn't even sound good.

LOVE this cd. Maybe 3 tracks I don't adore. but the rest are absolute bangers.
Just wanna add, Shaolin finger jab may be the most underrated hip hop track of all time!! it is possibly my favourite on the album. When I first played it, this track got me right into a "fuck! The Clan really are back!" mood
"What is the meanin' of crime? is it Criminals Robbin Innocent Muthafuckaz Everytime?"

are you talking bout Chamber Music or the 40-sec. snippet of Shaolin Finger Jab that appears on the album. I'm still mad at RZA for ditching that track which sounds like an absolute Wu-classic.. it haven't even got to the hands of J-Love yet.

The W is my favourite Wu Tang album, for sentimental reasons above anything else. It was the first Wu Tang album that I bought, and there aren't IMO many better. I listen to this alot more than Forever, because for all it's genius, it can be turgid to listen to sometimes, and it's a bit of a chore. But this one is so easy to listen to, some of RZA's best beats are on this.

And here's something else - why do people take issue with the guest appearances? Redman, Nas, and Busta Rhymes, each with quality verses, on a Wu Tang album. The RZA struck a nice deal there.

A good album with very strong songs, such as "I can't go to sleep", "hollow bones" and "1 blood under W". A classic rza!!!( not their best though)

The W was ok. I agree with 9th Warrior that is was better than Iron Flag, but it was not better than Wu Tang Forever. My favorite song was Careful (Click, Click), followed by Redbull and Chamber Music.I like Hollow Bones and I Can't Go To Sleep.

W was a tight album now that i look at it, i don't own it, but 97% of the songs listed are flame.

at one point (before i had heard any pre 1999 Wu) i though The Jumpoff was the illest rhyming a group could ever do.

boy was i in for a suprise.

Good album, but I think that previous albums overcomed this one, at least in my case, so 6/10

of course they overcome this, but you cannot compare this to previous albums, this is 8.5-9/10
