A strong 9/10 album. Lyrically the Wu are advanced on this album than 36 chambers, but a handful of 'filler' tracks, such as the projects and and a few other beats prevent this album from being the classic it couldve been. If done correctly this album could possibly be greater than 36 chambers. Lyrically, this is what the clan need to be like in future projects, group or solo. Plus this was the last true album to have odb appear on more than 1 track. A great follow up to 36 chambers.
My bad I forgot the closing was a skit Iv'e only listened to this album a couple of times, Iv'e bought about 20 albums in the last 2 months so I still got lots to listen to

The only tracks i skip are "Severe Punishment" and "Second Coming." The rest of the album is solid. Greatest hip-hop album of all time.

Overall: 5/5 (no it's not perfect but so many dope tracks make up for it that would rate more than 5/5 if possible. lyrically this is probably the best album i ever heard, they stepped their game up a lot from 36 chambers as far as lyricists. one of the top-5 best hip-hop albums of all time).

This is the best rap album ever. How's Rza gonna say in ten years we'll be number one, then 10 years later Forever comes out and it's number one? Well, he did it, they did it. I'll be listening to this album for the rest of my life, word up.

even though i luv 36 chambers like crazy, i think this may be the best overall Wu-Tang album made. Too many classics.
Im not comparing any of the songs with eachother.
every track is something for itself, something special.
Compared to 36 chambers and forever, 8D is weak.
BUT... Compared to everything else in the radio, Wu-Tang is still lightyears ahead.
