Dog u said it best. The greatest double CD ever and one of the Greatest hiphop albums!Originally Posted by Mark Mayoya

Wu Revolution - I hate this intro. Shit bores me to death.
Reunited - 4.5/5 Would have gotten a 5 rating if the whole "motherfucker" thing wasn't overdone. GZA rips it to shreds though.
For heavens sake - 5/5 One of the best songs on this disc. I gotta repeat the first 3 seconds like 10 times before I can listen to the whole song.
Cash still rules - 5/5 Deserves its name.
Visions - 5/5 Classic Deck beat. Great verse from Meth.
As high as wu tang get - 5/5 GZA's flow at its greatest.
Severe Punishment 5/5 My favorite song on this disc. U-God shows everybody what he's capable of.
Older God - 5/5 This song's special to me for some reasons. I love how Ghost opens the track.
Maria - 4/5 I used to find this song annoying but then it grew on me. Great track. Cappa isn't so horrible on this one.
A better tomorrow 5/5 Deck's verse here > Deck's verse on Triumph. He kills it.
Itz yourz - 5/5 ITS YOURZ!
Disc 2
Intro - 5/5 Classic intro.
Triumph - 5/5 ...It's Triumph.
Impossible - 4/5 Simple beat, but everybody rips it. (Especially Ghost)
Lil ghetto Boys - 5/5 I love this one. Rae is the shit on this.
Deadly Melody - 5/5 One of my favorite Wu songs. Masta Killa stole the show.
The City - 5/5 Deck proves he can handle a full song without getting it boring.
The Projects 5/5 The beat is fresh as hell. I used to hate Ghost's verse, but now I love it. It's also my ringtone.
Bells of war - 5/5 I love this track too. Classic RZA verse.
MGM - 4/5 I would have rated it 5/5 but I think I overplayed this song. Doesn't have the same effect on me anymore. Still a banging track.
Dogshit - 5/5 ODB...enough said.
Duck Season - 5/5 RZA drops the verse of his career IMO. Rae and Meth come correct too.
Hellz Wind Staff - 5/5 Damn.
Heaterz - Nice - 5/5 Mathematics' best beat ever. It's up there with the other classic Wu songs.
Black Shampoo - 5/5 A lot of people don't like this one but I think U-God ripped it. I love his flow on it.
Second Coming - 4.5/5 Perfect way to close the album. Never skip this one.
The Closing - Never skipped this track, even though it's the outro.
Wu Forvever & The W are fighting for No1 position as i see it; one day it will just be Forever & the next its The W but on the topic of Forvever, the album thrives on some of the best lyrics ever put down - Gza's 'make it brief son, half short twice strong" ALOT of the tracks rza rhymes over are his best ever on this album, Maria sticks out though - "her obsession caused niggaz to give, the ASSCHEEK injection, chic lied said she had unirary tract infection.... caused a nigga to fuck her raw dawg without no condom"; Ghosts - "here's a tennis court for your birthday" gets me all the time... FUCKING TIGHT LP UP IN MY CD COLLECKTION

Yeah youre right. Checking my cd booklet and damn, Math didn't produce ANY songs. I could have sworn I've seen his name here somewhere.Originally Posted by Cm0ney

and the intro to disc one is classic, the beat is classic RZA, open up ya ears!
9.5/10... sounds like it so almost could have been perfect to me. Some tracks seem like they spent so long writing the lyrics they hadnt slept for days when the recorded the verses. RZA is untouchable on that album, just really Disc 2 some of the songs are kinda out of place and I don't really like 'The Projects' much. With a bit more energy and maybe some of the tracks condensed this could be the best album ever.
4.5/5. the only songs i dont really listen to alot are As High As Wu-tang Get and Duck Seazon. Gza's verse and Dirty were the only good parts about AHAWG. and the beat on Duck Seazon puts me to sleep. i did wanna hear a lot more GZA, ODB, and Masta on this album. didnt get to hear much of them.
I agree the beat on Duck Seazon needs some getting used to but now I think that beat is pure grimyness

One of the best albums ever. My favorite album ever. This was the peak, where they just couldn't get any better - and people didn't start appreciating it until just recently. I remember when I first started visiting Wu-Tang boards (2002-ish), there were a lot of haters of Forever.
