I never saw the whole movie concept in the album off course i heard the album. Off course its in my Top 5 album list. Off course the beats and lyrics are of the chain. But i never understood this whole storyline thats supposed to be in the album. For me every track is a alone standing story told by Rae and his accomplices. So can anybody tell me how to 'listen' to the album to understand it fully.

the whole "its like a movie" statement is spoken metaphorically. dont take it too seriously.

if you look at the movie idea it's pretty interesting, because everything means somthing, like the scarface quote at the beginning of criminology is suposed to be people pissed off at Lex and Tony cause they tryin to get outta the game, roll a joint, turn off all the lights (maby keep a black light on) and listen to the album all the way through, it's a real fuckin expierence.

Every song is nasty, this is definatly a classic. My favorites:

    2. "Knuckleheadz" (Diggs/Woods) - 4:05
    4. "Criminology" (Adams/Bascombe/Burgess/Coles/Diggs/Patterson/Woods) -
    5. "Incarcerated Scarfaces" (Diggs/Raekwon) - 4:30
    11. "Glaciers of Ice" (Coles/Diggs/Turner/Woods) - 4:54
    15. "Ice Cream" (Diggs/Woods) - 4:16
    16. "Wu-Gambinos" performed by Raekwon / Method Man - 5:09

My favorite on the whole album is definatly Wu-Gambinos, by far.

the whole movie concept of the album has always confused me too. I read in an interview that Raekwon did a few years back and he tryed to explain it. Still made no sense tho. Supposedly in track 2 (Knuckleheadz), it ends with U-God dieing in a car accident.

    Tical.... bare overated.

word, but it's still a classic, i hold it as the classic standard bearer, like, you have to be better then tical to be a classic in my book.

"Slugs hit my pele pele, sucka try'd to knock me out the box like skele"

He got shot, fell and his girl took his money to by nails and hair weaves

The story line makes sense to me, but some parts don't fit like Guillotine, but no mob flick has a real "plot" it's just always a segment in someone's life
