The Tutorial/Documentary Thread

The purpose of this thread is to add videos, e-books etc that might prove useful to newbies who are just starting out and to arm old hands with a few new tricks up there sleeves. Its also somewhere where you can post documentarys etc that might be of interest from an artists perspective i.e how the pro's do there perfect mic set-up, break digging, sample chopping etc etc. Hopefully we can all learn something new or find inpiration from the items posted here. Feel free to add on if you find any good material.

its an interview of the director for the documentry, im tryin to find the documentry but the interview is good but i think the actually doc would be better

edit: found a part of it, i wish i found the whole thing but its all spread out and i cant find all the parts, so i dont know what comes first but it s good shit

Nice vids but what my intentions where for this thread when I started it was to put up tutorials and documentries from an artist/production point of view from reputable artists or good sources rather than from a culture point of view cos those types of vids belong in the hip hop shop really. What I want this to be is a thread about making music as its in the audio booth mainly for people to learn of off and also as a point of interest as fellow artists. Thanks for your input tho guys keep em coming so I can post em in the first post of the thread
