Yeah that's a crazy loss. It says he will be back by like April. 8-12 weeks I thought? Either way, the Lakers aren't gonna do shit even with Bynum....sorry but it's true. As long as they keep playing Boston in the Finals...they won't win.

Now if they played the Cavs in the Finals?
    Different story.

Lakers can take the Celtics...They blew game 4 last year and that loss cost them the entire series. I think they can win this year with home-court and a healthy Trevor Ariza. IF they make it to the finals, that is.

Who seen Kobe last night?? He just DESTROYED the Knicks!

^^You ever seen him play? He's a great lock down defender and he's athletic...Lakers coulda used a lock down defender at the 3 last year when Pierce ran all over them.

Ariza ain't lockin shit down when it comes to someone like Pierce.
I'll keep a keen eye for detail open when the Lakers head up to Boston.
    We'll see.

I have hated the lakers since I was a little boy. I hope bynum comes back full strength and my celtics do them in the finals once again so they don't have any excuses.

And I acknoledge that kobe has skills, but I hate him.

I respect his work as a rapist though.

I dont think this years Boston team is deep enough to repeat. They need to trade for more bench support.

It worries me, but the starters are better than last year...

And Big Baby is getting better everyday and so is Tony Allen.

Plus house can light it up...

THey might need an experienced big man with length or a scorer, but everybody has holes.

Yea, and Powe plays ok from time to time. But still, last year they had Posey and Cassell, and I dont think that Tony Allen or House are as consistent or good. I think if the Celtics got a guy like Gerald Wallace, that would really help them.

Marbury would only hurt them and bring unwanted press

Fuck Marbury. Posey was definitely a big loss. He was a glue guy, a tough guy, a great defender, and he stuck 3s. Also, PJ Brown came up big last year in the playoffs.

Cassel never really did shit. He is almost like having another coach on the team though. He is still on the active roster, but never plays.

Cleveland is better than they were last year, and they will always be dangerous, because they always have the best player on the court, which is huge.

To tell the truth, I would rather play the magic in the conference finals then cleveland.

Im confident against anybody, but cleveland is the team I worry about most for boston in the playoffs, including whoever comes out of the west.

Everyone is jumping on the Magic bandwagon, and deservedly so, they are having a great year, but come playoff time, during a series, its defense and the superstars that win you games.
The magic take way too many threes and are too much of a score by committee team. Sure, they can light it up on any givin night, but I dont think they get enough inside.

ALot of people around here have been saying they'd rather play orland than boston, but I disagree.
I still think Boston is better.

I want to play Boston tho, that was a great, classic series.

But your right, if the Cavs are close at the end of the game, they usually always have a better chance because of Lebron.
Paul Pierce carried Boston last year cuz he was playing the best ball of his career. You need that go to guy to win a title.

I dont think Orland has that. Howard is not that guy offensively. Turk and Lewis are solid but they aren't superstars.
