Felipe Coronel or Immortal Technique the self titled socialist guerrilla was born in Peru and moved to Harlem at the age of two. Some say his social and political songs are fueled by the time he studied in jail for some 3 and a half years.
After his release in 1999 and becomming a Sucessful battle rapper Tech used the winnings from some of his battles to release his first LP 'Revolutionary Volume 1' and then 'Revolutionary Volume 2' which gained him a Hip Hop Quotable for his song 'Industrial Revolution' - making history to be the only person un-signed to do so.

They say you "find yourself" at some point in your life, where everything makes sence and you understand why your here, and what you have to do in life, and also personaly knowing yourself fully and what to expect from yourself, most rappers these days, in my opinion have no idea who they are, Immortal Technique too me is a man who is sure of himself, does not second guess his believes, but also is an open book that wont hesitate to listen.

notice durring this interview he does'nt "umm" and "ahh" one bit.
Hip Hop today is not in the best shape, alot of people will tell you it will never be like it was, or how it "should" be - but its impossible for powerful things not to evolve and change, but its when people like Immortal Technique opening doors and pioneering new markets and ways to inform people things they may not see on CNN or whatever that you can say hip hop is as alive as it will ever be.
Im gonna end this post with Tech talking about his song 'Dance with the devil' and the actual song. PEACE!!!
