Weak guest spots do alot to damage an album. Its not that Deck or GZA's spots wil be that weak per say, but we all know what they will sound like, and what they will say. They would offer nothing to the album, and would probably make it mundane and bland (imo).

on the flip side though ... a weak guest spot can make an average verse from you sound a lot better and a really strong guest spot can make an average verse seem twice as bad

All is said, having the beats isn t enough. Having an enlightened executive producer like can be Dre, RZA & others is mad important to not put an album full of good songs "which could have been so much better if..."

I m not talking about what you haven t but what a good executive can do with what you already have.
