    Default Rhyme Schemes

I HAVE A QUESTION FOR ALL THE WRITERS IN HERE
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE RHYME SCHEME?
WHAT RHYME SCHEME DO YOU NORMALLY USE?

    I MOSTLY USE LIKE
    AB
    AB

    FOR EXAMPLE

"every other day i'm in HAND CUFFS
stack something, lose something something keeps fucking my PLANS UP"

    THATS FROM STYLES P BTW
    MY SIG IS ANOTHER EXAMPLE

ALMOST EVERY RAPPER LIKE JADAKISS & BIG L USE IT A LOT
ITS PRETTY BASIC THOUGH I THINK?

It's not really a special tatic I use but I like to rhyme words in one verse and then rhyme another word in the beginning of the next verse and then have something that is compare able to the first line at the end of the second line. Like my last freestyle for example:

"Broke the door with my tounge sharp like a double edge sword that killed bill, two lines into it and I'm already break'n bones with my lyrical words of steel. Stainless and painless was my aim sharp like a double agent's golden eye
    "

It's all referencing swords or things that are refered to when you think of swords. But on the other hand I was explaning how my freestlye is intruding your place like an agent and killing you with out you feeling it. If that makes sense.

sometimes i like crammin in as many words as i can think of that rhyme

"ya first mate jake takes the bait and forsakes
my tapes rape ya ears assassinate like robert blake
make or break, rake ya face, puncture hearts like a stake
blood falls like snowflakes, forms the shape of a lake"

and other times i like usin a word that rhymes with a prior line.

"..and i can wreck it, without a moments hesitation
no calibration, get off without fornication
let the celebration commence and bring the children..."
through songs i write, my wrongs i right

lol, well im not exactly professional so i cant really take "amateur" as an insult. in my opinion your above the majority of the people here lyrically. and also maybe im wrong here, well actually im not wrong cuz this is my opinion as well, but a good verse doesnt have to blow me away with the rhyme scheme. some rhymes are more about the message that they are deliverin. but yeah, hey thanks for the advice tho cuz im always tryin to improve.

I think it's important to have a range of schemes just to keep shit varied. A technique I do like to use is to rhyme internaly in one line while ending it with a word that doesn't rhyme with the internal, and then finish the bar with the same scheme. Works like this.........(just started a new thread w/ this btw)..........

Unify the underground sound to throw down for the future
Massive militans with proper penmanship to heal wounds like sutures.

yeah i think the more i write the more complex ill be able to make my rhymes. SpOk3N when your writin do you stop after each line and recite it or somethin. cuz if i just keep writin without rappin it then when im done i find that i put too many words in it sometimes, or i forget to leave spots to inhale. do you ever find yourself havin any similar problems.
