I just gotta say - Queen's Gambit is DEEP. That's ingenius - his usual allegory, BUT showing emcees that they can come from a different angle with the love songs.

Loving this album. Lots of jewels. Plus he SWITCHES his tone for each track. DJ Muggs style on the beats - can't fuck with that. Man - and yo for the records, i got this already cuz i am impatient. Not enough new shit to listen to right now for me. But you bet believe i'm buying that shit. Not just "to support the artists" - even though i'd love to see Gza get the sales he deserves (but shit the artist is richer than me). Anyway, that's not my point - i'm buying the shit cuz i want to own it. It's a beautiful thing to put in my collection. You'd be a lot cooler if you owned this - and get more respect, from me at least. Shame on you if you don't buy it.

Gza came through for all the original Wu fans

Only time will tell if It's a classic... It has to stand the test of time, That's why I don't like to call anything classic right away when it comes out ( NO HOMO)

This album really is incredible. Unstoppable Threats is probably the weakest track and even that's of say, No Said Date quality. Some of the beats are just.... Wow. I would name the ones I'm thinking of but I think it would just be easier if I said tracks 1-12 inclusive. I can't believe how much Illusory Protection sounds like a track of Liquid Swords.

This is the kind of album we've all been dreaming of for years. 9.5/10
