New rep season?
Sometimes the rep works more like a ladder on this site. It may be easier to reset it rather than adding to it.
Vets and vats would still give the rep, but make the rep power different. The rep power is based on post count, years registered, and rep points. Maybe next time adjust the weights of the rep power.
The amount of people to rep before you can rep again and the amount of rep you can give in 24 hours can also be adjusted.
Why can't we trade digital blood diamonds?

Not feeling the idea to be honest...dudes dont rep like they use to anymore... but your the mod so its your choice.
I also think the vatican is a bad name for an elite group of posters. Just thinking about how corrupt and sickening the Catholic Church is with those priests makes my stomach turn.
I think a revision is necessary.

there are people i want to give rep too but cant cuz im not vat or vet. and rep power of 5 is reasonable for non vat/vet
Something needs to be done to it, a lot of people have maxed out now.
Maybe once you max out you get something (a symbol next to the username or a different colour) and then you get reset.
