    yea i feel you i think that there are alot of people out there who just look for easy samples to loop. which is cool because we have all done it, but it limits you. But sometimes i will find something that is just flat out ill the way it is, and i dont want to fuck with that original flow of it, but thats a rare occasion. i like to break something down, then build it back up, its more fun anyways.

    Word @ both statements from Tracks and 7th...

    Mixing should be included next time.. and then, offer some awful drums and sounds that we would have to struggle to work with lol.. that makes your listening abilities edgier and much more keen than ever before.. you hear MORE throughout a listen.. like Tracks said, it's fun and easy to loop.. but it's even more experience to break it down..

    can't wait for the next round lol... I am so ready yo!

    i dont agree with it being a mixing thing either, to me thats a really bad idea. mixing and making beats are 2 different arts.

    Kinda but mixing the beat adds on and you're perfecting that side as well.. but I guess! Lol it's a beat battle so.. yeah..

    right, deliberately posting lack luster samples would be cool if this was a mixing competition, which its not. obviously everyone involved should put out something that represents them well, regardless.

    battles are a great way to learn fam cos you get an inside look into how more experianced cats do there thing with the same sample, so dont sweat it fam!!! Im lookin forward to seeing what you produced!!
