the song to me is eff wording dope.

I only know his shit from "The Police." I have "Reggatta de Blanc" and "Synchronicity" - ON WAX - so, yeah, pick those up.

only good Sting is Police Sting. Regatta De Blanc is the best album imo , it has message in a bottle and walking on the Moon. I think Stewart Copeland (police drummer) gets his song credits in over sting on some of the police material though which is odd.

get that Regatta de blanc and listen to - any other day

there are other great songs on that album like - "beds too big without you" and "DOES EVERYONE STARE"

Sting's best work was with the Police, no doubt, but he's got some other material that I like. Check out the 10 Sumner's Tales album...lots of mellow, but great music on there.

yeah the only solo Gordon songs IMO that are good are - If you love someone (set them free) and there is like maybe 2 others. 10 sumner's tales was a grammy nominee album , I remember that. He tried real hard with that album but to me it sounds like adult contemporary.

Man , there are a LOT of ppl in the states that dont know about her. I was diggin and took my girl (she be pullin gems out tha crates for me) and she grabbed a sade record for me and was like "daddy look , do you want Saide?" hahahaha "Saide" like "shadey" without the H.

Both my parents loved Sade too. Her first record was a household staple. I'm still waiting on my moms to hand it down to me.

when i started fucking with producing a few years back, Sade vinyls were the main records I used to sample off (stole from the attick) I thought I was onto something with those samples, then I heard DOOM and shit had already done it already lol damn

I would say its solid but I would have to take a lil peep again to refresh my memory. I know the drumming was better than most adult contemporary drumming of the time. At that time the drum sound all around was coming out of that underwater sound that was big and cheesy to going into the direction of a live drum set sound again.

80's drums fuckin blow. i dont know why anybody thought the shit sounded cool. It was always overproduced and soundinbg like the drums was recorded under water. just my opinion tho9ugh. some of ya'll might now what I am talkin bout.

I used to like his sons music but after listening to that for a while I got bored with it.

    He's the singer.

Englishman in NY is a classic for sure.

I like most of the Police music I know but I haven't really digged that deep.

    De mijne is 4x duurder!
