I saw the extra material and they say that the young girl in the trailor is Leatherface's sister. Ok. But who the hell is the father? and the mother? There are like 2 guys that can be the father.

And, is the whole family insane? Ive never heard about a whole family that's insane.
But there must be something wrong with them since they slice people up.
But why?
They say Leatherface was being picked on in school beacuse he had a tumour.
So the whole family just wanted to start kill people beacuse Thomas Hewitt (Leatherface) got picked on.

it was an alright remake, if you wanna learn about the family, watch the originals....leatherface lives with a fucking shitload of people, i think it has a few brothers, you see grampasaw and the dead grandma (next to all the cannibalism, human torture, skeletons and human remains in the fridge and all over the house, the dead mother is the only connection to ed gein) in the room upstairs....

I would think that the parents were insane, so they raised even more insane children... I thought it was a dope flick. I don't remember much of the original though, when I saw it I couldn't have been any older den like 10 years old.

I liked the original more than this one. This one was allright, but the other just was handled better. For example, Leatherface. In this one, to me, he wasn't a least bit scary, he just looked like any other serial killer (Jason, Michael, etc.). But the original Leatherface looked like a fat hillbilly with aprons and shit, and acted in a different way. Plus in thsi oen it as the average, "Oh, everyone picked on him when he was young. So now we're gonna slaughter all you motherfuckers, even though it makes no sense!". Now in the original, they were just a bunch of downright crazy freaks witha craving for human meat. I hate it when they try to make you feel sorry for the killer. I loved how in the original Leatherface was just a sadistic motherfucker who we knew nothing about.
