Default sometimes Gza's rap style is like...

Keyser Soze in the police interogation room...

the way he sometimes takes words and concepts and makes a story of them

    like "labels"

    or like "breaker breaker"

or like on the grandmasters album where he takes chess terminology and

weaves it together to make stories

    keyser soze style

i know what you mean. i really like when he goes into that mood, that's why i think liquid swords was so ill, partically, his tone. Its just , sometimes, harsh and unforgiving.

I also like when he goes into his 'evil scheme' flow like with UZI

he just sounds exactly how that video depicted, plotting in the dark.

his new old guy flow is really ill for songs that are supposed to sound like he's reading, and that one epic beat song on grandmasters i can't remember where due to the hellish events a guys days were numbered.

Yeah it sounds all good on some of his tracks, but he needs to realise that his style was laid back when he was younger,if hes any more laid back he mite aswell sleep

Look at KRSONE he still expresses on the mic with energy ,Some of theses wu dudes need to go back to what made them like yeah of corse the lyrics will change and the sound of voice will but stick to something at least tht made you, because right now they trying to hard to sound like the young dudes whove got those new flows, stick to what made you original man!

    ^^exactly

gza changed after liquid swords which i believe was his greatest album

beneath the surfaced used different production than what i was used to, but still liked it

also his lyrical style changed too

he should go back to the liquid sword style

tsa ur thinkin of unprotected pieces, thats where the lines from, and yea remember though, the gza dont get mad, he got mad styles of his own. I love that flow on killah hills it sounds so masterful, like hes got hostages tied up in the studio while hes rappin about his man muhammed from afghanistan who grew up in iran.

Gza's verse on 'back in the game' is what keeps me listening to that over and over

a spade in the club with the heart to wear diamonds
tha high roller who got credit upon signing
they look puzzled when i shuffle, most of them stunned by the hustle

    i love those gambling metaphors

There's no need for us to spray up the scene
I use less men, more powerful shit for my team
Like my man Muhammad from Afghanistan
Grew up in Iran, the nigga runs a neighborhood newsstand
A wild Middle Eastern, bomb specialist
Intiated, at eleven to be a terrorist
He set bombs in bottles of champagne
And when niggaz popped the cork, niggaz lost half they brains
Like this ex-worker, tried to smuggle a half a key
in his left leg, even underwent surgery
They say his pirate limp gave him away
As the feds rushed him, comin through U.S. Customs
Now look whose on the witness stand singin, a well known soprano
A smash hit from Sammy Gravano

    CRAAAZZZYYYYY
Shaolin shadowboxin' and the wu-tang swordstyle...
If what you say is true...
The shaolin and the wu-tang could be dangerous!
En garde, I'll let you try my wu-tang style...
