    Default Glengarry GlenRoss

    This movie is awesome. So many strong characters and great performances. Acting at its finest. One of my faves.

    Times are tough in a New York real-estate office; the salesmen (Shelley Levene, Ricky Roma, Dave Moss, and George Aaronow) are given a strong incentive by Blake to succeed in a sales contest. The prizes? First prize is a Cadillac Eldorado, second prize is a set of steak knives, third prize is the sack! There is no room for losers in this dramatically masculine world; only "closers" will get the good sales leads. There is a lot of pressure to succeed, so a robbery is committed which has unforeseen consequences for all the characters. Written by Patrick Dominick {[email protected]}

    You need to see it just off the strength of the characters and acting alone.

    Classic. Probably Pacino's most over looked film. Jack Lemmon's character always reminds me of that guy on the Simpsons who never makes a sale and usually gets fired at the end of the episode.

    LOL, I saw this film last semester in Theater 101. It was pretty dope, glad I was put on to this.
    Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.

    That character was actually based on the Jack Lemmon character. Just watched it again yesterday...it is a great movie indeed

    I never get tired of this film. Ricky Roma ha, Pacino is the GOAT shouty actor.

    You buy that hes pissed off more than any other actor.
