If I don't like an artist, I don't listen to them. I don't go on a forum and bitch about how they aren't real and they're bastardizing the sacred artform that is Hip-Hop. I understand that other people enjoy their music and that's great. I think this the most unpopular statement yet.

Guru is a talented MC. Sometimes you all get too caught up in multi-syllabic rhyme schemes and such to actually appreciate what somebody is saying. Notice how he's possibly the second most-sampled MC in Hip-Hop, behind Prodigy.

A classic album isn't a classic album unless almost everybody agrees that it is. No matter how much you like an album. That's the difference between classic and personal classic.

Cage is one of Def Jux' most important rappers, plus I think everybody heard at least his two solo albums. [both being known underground albums]
