Chan is almost 10 years older than Li, jet li is 46 now, when chan was in his 40ies he was dropping Bangers like ''First Strike''(and many more)

You're right, Chan is doing what Jet is NOT doing, which is making consistently bad films for awhile. BTW, Fearless (especially the director's cut) Jet Li had quite the hand in and that's a recent film. You won't find ANY bad reviews of that either.i dont see the point ur trying to make by bringin up that 1 movie each time

You're grasping onto small details that can easily be argued against because they're flawed.

Li & Chan use wires (then and now)
Li & Chan have films were they didn't use wires (then & now)
the relation is about 80% to 7%
If you're going for the numbers game ("BUT LI USES WIRES MORE THAN CHAN, SO THAT MAKES CHAN BETTER!!!!")
then you have to accept that Chan has far more wack films than Li does too. thats your opinionIf you don't agree, then break down those films that 100proof was nice enough to list and defend their wackness since you're a fan of Chan. Should be amusing to say the least.like i said b4, those are some commercial Hollywood films made by a veeery old man, theres no reason for me to give those films a serious judgement. But i will say this tho (about their old stuff): the WACK jackie chan films are wacker than the wack jet li films, but the DOPE jackie chan films are EASILY doper than the dope jet li films, IMO

Being able to pose and flip is not martial arts, capoeira for instance is DANCING and flipping and its STILL considered martial arts, just a different form of martial arts but if that impresses you more then so be it. But using that as a basis to claim superiority in martial arts films when one person is a martial artist, while the other is not, is laughable at best.ive never seen jackie chan in a REAL fight, same with jet li, so i can ONLY judge their skillz from watching their movies, and chan is showing waaay more skillz in his movies than li

But hey, there are those who think Godfather is long & boring, while Freddie Got Fingered is a fun enjoyable film. So opinions, ya know.LOL, true, btw Godfather is CLASSIC

Did you even read that list? Most of those are films from the 70s and 80s, not "some commercial Hollywood films made by a veeery old man." As you're proving, EVEN CHAN'S FANS can't defend them. So the point still stands. Stop ignoring the argument by repeating that "Hollywood films" line when that has nothing to do with what is being pointed out.

Kinda asinine to compare results that close this early, but in continuing with a point I guess you're trying to make, how about an update...

You do realize you JUST posted the poll results right? Or is calling me a stan a random part of your speech?

Finger-pointing in this regard is silly based on your track record in this thread.

No, martial arts is not one of the things students must train and learn to be in Peking Opera Schools.

Do some of you really think that anyone who can back-flip knows martial arts?

Prof.RINO - Yes I know about Caporera. In fact, I use to study it (along with Kempo). What that has to do with Jackie Chan is beyond me, but I figured you had some point with it. What I was saying is that many people know how to pose and flip (like Jackie Chan), but that doesn't make them martial artists.

Some REALLY loose definitions of the term in here.

for ...when they put on shows..for the public ....were do u think jackie learned to sing

ma was apart of the opera..only for the movie guys,,,like the venoms group were they learn a lil bit of ma..to help out with filming

chan never was making movies...untill the opera school was closed down

    thats when chan, sammo..and yuen
came together and tryed out for movies

chan was in movies as a child..but they were dramas

    like buce lee films
    when he was a child

small note..chan did learn wushu when he was a child from his father..that was for obedience..he was a bad kid...but never learned or cared which is y they sent him to peaking opera school where they were strict and he couldt leave

every mistake he was hit by the trainer

    sim......to jet li
