well I did some reading this morning and some claim that they are chemicals dropped from these planes.. i dunno, discuss.

contrails are ice crystals or water vapor formed from pressure changes made by the plane slicing thru the air. they disappear within minutes

chemtrails are aerosol chemical sprays that last for hrs.
they use a cocktail of agents to affect the weather, health, and plant/animal life.

interestingly, UK has admitted to spraying its citizens thousands of times back in the 70's.

Ive seen just what that first vid showed first hand. One plane had a normal contrail and another came a little latter and its trail stayed and over a couple of hours spread out into a thin wispy cloud. I live in an extremly rual area, our whole county has less than 4000 people in it. (Im talking you can travel in any direction and not get to a town of small size for atleast 45 minutes) And its an almost everyday thing here, and we have the Air Force Acadamy in Colorado Springs and an Army manuver site in the next county over. So if the chemtrails are detramental to our health we're fucked.
