yeah - to remove the white background - without using the lassos or the point tools
without lassos?
magic eraser (right click on normal eraser on photoshop)
Magic Wand + Delete
Magic Wand + Feather + delete (to smooth it out if it comes out jagged)
It will be pretty hard to do with that picture though cause of all the little tassles and shit, it will come out pretty jagged
You can try using Color Range to erase all true white.
