LOL. You should play the pc demo than decide.

I played the demo and its very good. The halo series has a great story to it. I never played halo 2 but I heard the ending was bad.

Halo is probably the best overall game on Xbox. I thought it was very good. I would get it, its only $20 now anyway. But Halo 2 is a different story. Unless you have Xbox Live then I suggest just renting Halo 2.
Basically, the ending of Halo 2 is like a "To be continued..."
No spoilers there....

HALO2 dissapointed me big time....the game was too damn short...and the story kinda sucks
i know Bungie was aiming more towards the multiplayer and the downloads but still....i wouldve appreciated a better single player experience

and am i the only person who played thru the single player before even touching the online play? lol

I've only played the first one so far and it's pretty good. Compared to other FPS games at first it looks pretty simplistic...

i always felt like Halo was a cop out and rip off of perfect dark. I mean I played halo 1 but not 2 only multiplayer, but alot of the weapons were in perfect dark, just my opinion

omg.. halo 1 was the jumpoff.. we played that for like 12 hours at a time (blood gulch with snipers only)

i was one of those fools who waited in line for halo 2

when i got it.. it was the biggest disappointyment for a game imo OF ALL TIME

the xbox live matchmaking system was the worst ive ever seec
the weapons were all changed for the worse
the maps were cramped and crowded
the sound effects were changed for no apparent reason
the game was boring

i guess since halo 1 came out in 2001.. during 2002-2004 i spent all my time playing rainbox 6, ghost recon, etc.. so when halo 2 was copped it felt like a step back instead of forward.. i returned it to eb games the very next day

now im playing ghost recon 2 summit strike,, hot shit!
