    Default Latin Jazz

    Anyone have any?

I cant distinguish between the subgenres so tell me. I once had an album with all Brazilian jazz but cant find it.

I only hear it on certain times on the local jazz radio station. That station is good unlike the hip-hop/urban ones that play the same bullshit all the time.

I think its one of the genres you can only listen to certain times or it might ruin it for yourself. Kinda like when you drink one of those Belgian white beers brewed with orange peel....delicious once in a while but can get redundant if you have it all the time.

Don't know if these are exactly latin "jazz" per se (maybe more latin-jazz-fusion), but check out both Michel Camilo and Chucho Valdez. Both are latin pianists with BLAZING bands backing them. Excellent music...

check out Cal Tjader, probably one of the most famous of all latin jazz musicians.
