i don't consider this LP to be a classic, but it definitvely got many standout tracks (as well as some lows which bring the rating down a bit). I love "R.E.C. room", "Trouble Man", "Friction", that short banger in the beginning with La The Darkman and some others. my favorite gotta be "lovin' you" though, so fucking sharp, short and precise that cut is! on the lows is "femme fatale" (which i really think is weak) and "forget me not" (which was o.k.), the theme on "grand prix" was pathetic (although great verses & good beat) and some of the beats sounds uninspired. but overall it's a damn good album (7.5/10)

9/10 album. 9th Chamber, Grand Prix & Lovin' You are my personal classics, but there're other very dope songs: Uncontrolled Substance (I got used to this hilarious chorus...), Show & Prove, Word On The Street, Rec Room, Friction & The Cause. I wish there was more A-Team Wu-Tang featurings (where is Meth, GZA & Rae???) and better beats (it would be real 10/10 classic then), but INS spits fire in every song. hands down...

Half of this album is great and the other half I was not feeling.

    Great songs
    Movas and Shaker
    9th Chamber
    Grand Prix
    Longevity
    Elevation
    hyperdermix
    REC Room
    Friction

Exactly what I was thinking and the tracks you picked are the same ones as mine.

Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.

I kinda agree, but with the exception of Lovin' You track. This is a mothafuckin classic. Beat and lyrics are marvelous . Top three best hip-hop love songs ever fo sho (with RZA's - Love Jones & Method's - All I Need)
