I was just making people aware that I had to switch it up cuz I almost came doing the same sample. If I would put my 1st version out, we would've had the same beat basically and I personally would have kicked my own ass for not trying everything I possibly could on the track. My homies say it's too synthetic, but there really is no parts big enough to chop other than the intro. I think we both did a fine job considering the limits on sampling.
Pro for me!!! His had the better vibe, it was the best quality and was the more creative!!!! That being said I think they were both similar sounding in a way and there was more chops in there than you both gave the sample credit for which could of been used to prevent this, i.e. the little break at 2.37!!

I agree with you 7th, but my point stood with the fact that every sample like the 2 strings at 2:37 is pretty small. Chopping a song can sound pretty weird with small chops. I've tried to sample this track a few years back and never thought that I'd b able to do anything with it. Do appreciate the advice though. It always helps to up my game and take something positive away from a battle.
